Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Travel Pharmacist opportunity is available in a small rural community health center serving primarily patients over 50 years old. This role requires verifying prescriptions, counseling patients, and managing a strong team of two pharmacy technicians. The pharmacy fills approximately 120-130 prescriptions daily, utilizing the Liberty system.

Location: Midland, TX (assignment in rural Stratford, TX)

Schedule:

1st shift
Monday - Thursday: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
No weekend hours

Responsibilities:

Accurately verify prescriptions
Provide patient counseling to ensure proper medication use
Oversee and support pharmacy technicians

Qualifications:

Active and clear Texas pharmacist license required
Experience in community health or retail pharmacy preferred
Ability to work independently in a rural pharmacy environment
