This role focuses on delivering direct patient care within various medical-surgical units while engaging in a well-structured nursing career development program aimed at enhancing clinical skills and facilitating transitions into specialty areas. The RN pathway includes mentorship, opportunities for professional advancement, and the chance to move into specialty departments after a period of 12 to 18 months. Candidates must hold a nursing license and BLS certification, and the position comes with a comprehensive benefits package, including tuition reimbursement and shift differentials.

Engage in direct patient care activities for individuals of all ages, encompassing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will monitor and coordinate patient care efforts with ancillary departments to enhance patient comfort and care quality. This position operates within the framework of nursing education and adheres to established nursing practice guidelines, the organization’s goals, the Philosophy of the Sisters of Mercy, the relevant State Nurse Practice Act, the Code of Professional and Business Ethics, and the Co-Worker Code of Conduct. Qualifications:
- Education: Nursing degree from an accredited institution
- License: Active RN license in the state
