Job DescriptionDirector of Nursing (DON)
Outpatient Surgical Center is seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to lead our clinical team in delivering outstanding patient care. This role is ideal for an RN with proven supervisory experience; regulatory compliance experience is preferred. The Director of Nursing will work closely with the Administrator and Medical Director to ensure that clinical operations meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee clinical staffing to maintain appropriate coverage and high standards of care.
- Lead the orientation and ongoing development of clinical staff.
- Coordinate the peer review program, ensuring compliance and quality improvement.
- Maintain up-to-date policy and procedure manuals.
- Manage the in-house infection control program to uphold patient and staff safety.
Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure.
- Supervisory experience within a clinical setting.
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on compliance and quality.
