Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity offers skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) a chance to work across multiple school locations within El Dorado County for the 2026-2027 school year. The district spans a broad area with sites generally located between El Dorado Hills and Camino, offering a dynamic work environment that requires flexibility and adaptability. Candidates should be comfortable with travel and the possibility of changing assignments during the semester, as this position has high potential to be itinerant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language pathology services for mild to moderate caseloads, with occasional severe cases.
  • Deliver comprehensive assessment, treatment, and progress reporting aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication needs.
  • Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) and Clinical Fellows (CFs) when applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with California state standards and maintain licensure requirements.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid California SLP license with preference for those experienced in school settings and SEIS (Special Education Information System).
  • Willingness to travel within the county and work onsite exclusively.
  • Experience working with diverse pediatric caseloads in educational environments.
  • Ability to adapt to varying caseload sizes and locations as assignments evolve.

  • Positions are based onsite across multiple sites primarily between El Dorado Hills and Camino, with travel expected.
  • Nearby communities such as Lake Tahoe (approximately 1.5 hours east) and Sacramento (around 45 minutes west) are accessible for travel assignments.
