Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Skilled Laborer to join our excavation team. This is
a hands-on, physically demanding position that requires being on your feet all day, working
outdoors in all conditions, and assisting operators and crews with excavation projects.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate laser levels for grading and excavation work
Assist in site preparation, trenching, and grading tasks
Work alongside operators to ensure accuracy and efficiency on job sites
Perform manual labor such as shoveling, raking, lifting, and carrying materials
Maintain safe and clean work areas
Follow directions from supervisors and communicate effectively with team members
Requirements
Previous experience in excavation or construction preferred
Ability to set up and read laser levels for grading (training available if needed)
Strong physical stamina – able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors all day
Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites
Ability to work in a team environment and take direction well
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and commitment to safety
