Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An exciting opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support elementary and junior high students in a contract position based in Sanger, CA. This role is ideal for educators passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of students with special needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid RSP Teacher credential with Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe specialization
- Experience working with elementary and junior high age groups
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Position Details:
- Contract duration: August 19th through June 10th
- Schedule: 5 days per week
- Setting: School environment focused on special education
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Providing tailored instruction to meet diverse student needs
- Collaborating with general education teachers, therapists, and families to support student growth
- Maintaining accurate records and progress reports
