As a travel RN in a fast-paced Level IV NICU, you'll advance your résumé by working with fragile infants from 23 weeks gestation and beyond in a nationally recognized academic medical center with Level I Trauma and Stroke Center designations. The collaborative and dynamic workplace environment lets you learn from leading specialists, adopting best practices and a variety of leadership styles to enhance your clinical acumen.

Schedule:

  • 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM shifts
  • Weekend rotation: every other weekend minimum
  • No on-call requirements
  • 6-week scheduling cycle
  • Holidays: expectation to work 75% of major holidays

Desired Experience and Credentials:

  • RN licensure
  • Minimum 2 years of recent NICU nursing experience
  • BLS and NRP certifications
  • Strong skills in:
    • Basic vent management
    • Central line management
    • Tracheostomy and G-tube care
    • Pre/post-surgical and blood transfusion management
    • Gavage, bottle, and breastfeeding support
    • Infant venous access

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive, family-centered care to critically ill newborns
  • Work within a robust team alongside experienced charge RNs and supportive NAs
  • Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation
  • Float to General Pediatrics, PICU, Adolescent Pediatrics, or Pediatric Hem/Onc as needed
