We are looking for a detail-oriented Lead Audit Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Henderson, Nevada. In this role, the lead audit clerk will be responsible for conducting daily audits, verifying financial data, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and playing a crucial role in training new & existing team members. The lead audit clerk must have prior audit experience, capable of working 4/10-hour shifts, inclusive of weekends.


Responsibilities for the Lead Audit Clerk:

• Perform daily audit procedures, including verifying the accuracy of revenue data across multiple properties.

• Review and reconcile financial reports to ensure consistency and accuracy in all records.

• Prepare detailed spreadsheets and verify balances against computerized systems.

• Create and upload journal entries to maintain accurate financial documentation.

• Identify and document instances of noncompliance, reporting findings to management and conducting follow-up investigations as needed.

• Cross-check and validate numbers between multiple reports to ensure alignment and accuracy.

• Maintain thorough records of audit procedures, exceptions, and corresponding resolutions.

• Support and promote company-wide cultural values in all interactions and responsibilities.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and relevant gaming regulations.

• Assist with additional audit-related tasks as assigned.

• Assist leadership by training and mentoring new & existing team members.

• 2-4 years of experience in auditing, gaming industry experience is required.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions.

• Ability to obtain or possess a valid Gaming Card.

• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.

• Familiarity with financial reporting and audit processes.

• Strong organizational and documentation skills.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

• Must be capable of working weekends and 4 /10-hour shifts.
