Job DescriptionHR/Benefits and Payroll Administrative Assistant
SUMMARYUnder the supervision of the Senior Accountant, this position will work closely with OASIS Executive team. The HR/Benefits and Payroll Administrative Assistant will process agency payroll, onboard new employees, and maintain accurate employee records.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Answers and transfers phone calls, screening when necessary.Welcomes and directs visitors and clients.
Processes agency payroll.
Provides support to agency staff related to benefits, hiring, payroll, and other HR related functions.
Completes monthly reports as required.
Onboards new employees.. Maintains filing systems as assigned.Retrieves information as requested from records, email, minutes, and other related documents.prepares written summaries of data when needed.Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions.Maintains office supplies and coordinates maintenance of office equipment.
Assist in preparation for external monitoring visits, reviews, and audits.
Attends in-service and staff meetings as assigned.Performs other duties as assigned.

Associates Degree or higher Preferred.Ability to understand and meet Federal and State guidelines which are pertinent to the operation of the program.Must have exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle details accurately.
LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, financial reports, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations and legal documents. Ability to write reports, business correspondence that conform to a prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisor, clients, fellow employees, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic math and algebra. Ability to understand and apply principles of accounting.REASONING ABILITYAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exits. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSMust hold or be able to obtain a valid Kentucky Driver's License.
Must meet certification standards as outlined by ZeroV and as directed by Supervisor
