Beach Cities Volleyball is a community-driven sports organization dedicated to promoting volleyball and fostering teamwork, competition, and fun for players of all ages and skill levels. We’re looking for a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and support the smooth operation of our growing league.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records, including income, expenses, and bank transactions
- Prepare monthly financial reports and reconcile accounts
- Support budgeting and forecasting for each season
- Ensure compliance with nonprofit or small business accounting standards (if applicable)
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Wave, or Xero)
- Strong knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
- Passion for sports or experience with athletic organizations is a plus!
