Are you a creative and community-driven professional with a passion for promoting culture, events, and enterprise? Cayuga Nation Enterprises is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead outreach and marketing efforts across a diverse and growing portfolio of Nation-run programs and businesses.
This highly visible role is based in Geneva, NY, with regular travel throughout Union Springs, Seneca Falls, and surrounding areas to support events, capture content, and promote the Nation’s presence in the community and online.
What You’ll Do
As the Marketing Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping and promoting the Cayuga Nation’s public image. You will manage day-to-day marketing operations, develop campaigns, oversee social media, and represent the Nation at community events.
Your core responsibilities will include:

Designing and executing marketing campaigns that elevate the Cayuga Nation’s brand and businesses

Managing content for the website, social media, newsletters, and press releases

Promoting community events through onsite support, photo/video capture, and real-time posting

Representing the Nation at Chamber events, sponsored gatherings, and local outreach programs

Analyzing campaign metrics and adjusting strategies for maximum effectiveness

Coordinating with leadership and vendors on marketing priorities and deliverables

Ensuring brand consistency across all channels and platforms
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:

A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

At least 3 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably with local or community-based organizations

Strong writing, editing, and digital communication skills

Proficiency in platforms such as Canva, WordPress, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, and major social media tools

Experience with event marketing and on-site promotional coordination

A creative mindset with an eye for photography, design, and storytelling

The ability to work independently and travel locally (25–50%)

A valid driver’s license and availability for occasional evenings/weekends for special events
