Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A retail pharmacist role is available in a vibrant pharmacy located in Espanola, NM, offering a contract-to-hire opportunity with a schedule designed for daytime hours. This position is ideal for pharmacists seeking to apply their skills in a high-volume retail environment using the PioneerRx system.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (rotating weekends)
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and oversee pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow
- Deliver exceptional customer service and patient counseling
- Verify USP 800 non-sterile compounded prescriptions (verification only, no compounding)
- Manage workflow efficiently in a busy setting processing approximately 600 prescriptions per day
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Active and clear New Mexico Pharmacist License
- Experience with non-sterile compounding is a strong advantage
- Background in high-volume retail pharmacy settings preferred
