Phlebotomy Technician (contract)
Location: Camden, NJ
The Phlebotomy Technician is primarily responsible for collecting specimens for laboratory testing in the inpatient setting. Patients may range from newborn through older adults. Team members are assigned to various inpatient units based on volume and are expected to provide timely and accurate service.
Requirements:
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or a minimum of one year's consecutive experience in phlebotomy as a Medical Assistant
- Ability to communicate with patients, visitors and coworkers.
- Proficiency in venipuncture and capillary puncture techniques.
