Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (Adult)
Location: Brooklyn, NY 11203
Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift | 8:00 PM – 8:30 AM
Schedule: 37.5 Hours/Week | 3 × 12.5-Hour Shifts
Contract: Fixed-Term (No Extension)
Local Rate: $2,415/week
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to support a high-volume adult emergency department in Brooklyn, NY. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity environments and are committed to delivering exceptional emergency care.
Responsibilities

Provide high-acuity emergency nursing care, including rapid assessment, stabilization, and intervention for adult patients

Perform IV insertions, phlebotomy, and assist with conscious sedation procedures

Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and respond effectively to life-threatening emergencies

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to support efficient triage, treatment, and discharge

Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with hospital policies and ER protocols

Adhere to patient safety standards, infection control practices, and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting

Strong proficiency in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation support

Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program

Active New York State RN License (Primary Source Verification required through NYSED)

Current AHA certifications:

BLS
-
ACLS
-
PALS
-
-
TNCC certification required
