Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician who is adept at reading schematics and following detailed instructions for assembling various products, including cameras, hubs, docks, controllers, power supplies, batteries, lights, and cable assemblies. The ideal candidate will have experience in modifying and repairing products and camera sub-assemblies, including soldering small components using a microscope.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret schematics for product assembly.
• Follow detailed directions for assembling products such as cameras, hubs, docks, controllers, power supplies, batteries, lights, and cable assemblies.
• Modify and repair products and camera sub-assemblies.
• Solder small components such as SMD - 0201 size and BGA ICS to PCBA using a microscope.
• Utilize tools such as an oscilloscope, multimeter, and signal generator.
• Install firmware and perform calibrations on cameras and accessories.
• Check and troubleshoot power, grounding issues, and batteries.
• Organize and maintain an inventory of wires, screws, and connectors.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in soldering and electrical assembly.
• Experience using a microscope for intricate tasks.
• Ability to crimp pin connectors and use a multimeter.
• Strong understanding of schematic diagrams.
• Troubleshooting skills in electronics testing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in the industry of slow motion micro cameras is beneficial.
