Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team near Washington, DC. The BCBA will be responsible for assessing, developing, and implementing behavior intervention plans to support students with behavioral and developmental needs. This role requires collaboration with educators, school staff, and families to create a positive and structured learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
Provide direct and consultative behavioral support for students and staff.
Train and support teachers and paraprofessionals on behavior management strategies.
Monitor and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of interventions.
Collaborate with IEP teams to ensure compliance with students' educational plans.
Conduct crisis intervention and provide staff training on de-escalation strategies.
Maintain documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines.
Requirements:
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field
Experience working in a school setting preferred
Strong understanding of behavior analysis principles and best practices
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
