A.S.K. Foods is hiring Sanitation Associates - for our 3rd shift.

3rd shift: Monday-Friday, 10:30pm to 7:00am; Pay starting $18/hour

Associates will:

• Empty trash cans and liquid waste containers; clean floors and other cleaning tasks, as assigned.
• Return clean equipment and production utensils to their proper locations.
• Maintain work areas in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition.
• Clean production equipment to allergen control standards.
• Cross train to perform responsibilities across shifts and possibly other departments, depending on production volume and need.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of high pressure hot and cold-water hoses, chemical foam sanitizer, hand scrubbing
• Familiarity within manufacturing setting regarding sanitation expectations and standards
• Ability to understand, read, write, and communicate using the English Language
• Follow instructions regarding proper cleaning techniques and required Personal Protective Equipment

Environment:

• Varying temperatures in the building vary from 80 degrees to -20 degrees Fahrenheit
• Damp Conditions exist due to constant sanitation
• Approved food-grade chemicals are frequently present
• Food allergens - dairy, eggs, wheat, soy, fish, shellfish, peanuts, tree nuts, and sesame are frequently present in the work environment
• Equipment with moving parts and/or sharp edges and cooking vessels that operate at very high temperatures are present.
• Noise levels are typically moderate

Prior to starting work, candidates that receive a job offer will be required to undergo a background check and drug screening. Successful completion of these requirements is necessary prior to starting employment.
