Description
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a short-term acute care hospital position requiring 2+ years of experience, Cerner proficiency, and an active Indiana license.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital setting in an inpatient Nuclear Medicine department
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
- Charting performed in Cerner (required)
- May be required to float to other affiliated facilities based on need
- Free parking available on-site
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required
- Active Indiana or Compact RN license required; pending state licensure is not accepted — Indiana license must be in hand prior to consideration
- Current BLS (AHA or RQI accepted), CNMT or NMTCB certification required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Community hospital experience required
- Graduation from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program required
- License required if applicable
Additional Information

- Travelers may be floated within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate facility
- Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
- RTO of 5 days or fewer can be auto-approved
- Former permanent or PRN employees of this facility must have been separated for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler
- Royal blue scrubs required
