Title: Maintenance Technician
Pay Rate: $24-$25/HR
Hours: Swing shift:
On Sun/Mon 11pm - 7:30am
off Tues/Wed
on Thur/Fri/Sat 3pm - 11:30pm
Location: 500 Gulfstream Road, Savannah GA
Overview of Work Environment/Client Nuances:
Facility is a Data Center located on same property as an airport.
Some traveling between sites - candidate will drive a company vehicle
Team Overview:
Mostly independent work
Resource's typical working day:
General maintenance
Performing rounds to ensure all daily operations
Quick response work orders
HVAC PM's
Electrical PM's
Inventory
Maintaining and running generators
Licenses/Certifications:
Any applicable HVAC licenses are a big plus
Must Have Skills:
Mechanical skills
General carpentry
Good understanding of safety regulations/processes
Nice to have skills:
HVAC experience
Electrical experience
Soft Skills:
Good communication skills
Years of Experience:
3+ years
Education
h.s. diploma or GED, trade school is a plus
Software skills:
Tablet experience
CMMS experience
Basic computer skills
RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs general preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, equipment and grounds. Working under close supervision, assists in monitoring building system operations and performance. Utilizes several trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating and cooling.
