Summary
Serve as a technical field resource for advanced probing systems and related precision equipment. Provide hands-on installation, maintenance, and support to clients while coordinating with engineering, applications, and sales teams. Act as a liaison between customers and internal groups to ensure equipment reliability, future upgrades, and positive customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain precision probing systems and associated peripherals.

Configure electrical, mechanical, and communication interfaces between probing equipment, manipulators, test systems, and host networks.

Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) on probing equipment to maintain performance standards.

Execute onsite component repairs; clearly communicate project status, timelines, and technical details to customers.

Gather client requirements and relay feedback on device trends and testing strategies to our engineering teams.

Produce thorough Field Service Reports (FSRs) and track unresolved issues via enhancement requests or bug reports.

Manage multiple customer projects by creating and maintaining tracking tools (e.g., Gantt charts, issue logs); oversee project milestones.

Observe system usage within client workflows to identify potential enhancement opportunities.

Support pre-sales efforts, including technical demonstrations, trade show representation, and product engagement.

Author technical documentation—handoffs, procedures, and feature guides—for internal teams and clients.

Travel to customer locations and internal training as necessary.
Required Qualifications

Associate degree or certification in a technical field plus 2+ years of hands-on experience supporting probing or test systems, or a related bachelor's in electrical or mechanical engineering.

Strong mechanical aptitude combined with high mathematical and analytical skills.

Proficiency in interpreting and troubleshooting complex mechanical and electronic diagrams.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience producing technical documentation.

Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making in fast-paced environments.
Preferred Qualifications

Formal field training or certification on probing systems or related test equipment.

Experience using Microsoft Office and able to quickly learn new technical tools and interfaces
