Job DescriptionSunnyside Manor is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and results-driven Move Coordinator & Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this dual-role position, you will be responsible for guiding prospective residents through the process of moving into our senior living community while also supporting the sales and marketing efforts to drive occupancy. You will work closely with families, residents, and various internal departments to ensure a seamless transition to our community, while also supporting sales activities to meet and exceed sales targets.

Responsibilities
Move Coordination:
Act as the primary point of contact for new residents and their families throughout the move-in process, ensuring a positive and supportive experience.
Coordinate moving logistics including scheduling, setting up the new living space, and addressing any specific needs or concerns of the resident.Facilitate communication between the sales, nursing, and operations teams to ensure timely and effective coordination of move-in details. Ensure that all necessary documentation and contracts are completed and processed efficiently.
Provide ongoing communication and support after the move to ensure the resident's transition is as smooth as possible.
Sales and Marketing Support:
Assist the sales team in achieving sales goals by engaging with prospective residents and their families, providing tours, answering inquiries, and helping them make informed decisions.
Build and maintain positive relationships with families, referring professionals, and community partners to drive awareness and referrals. Represent the community at events, local outreach initiatives, and other promotional activities to build brand awareness and generate leads.
Maintain accurate records of all interactions, move-in activities, and lead progress within the CRM system to ensure data accuracy and timely reporting.
Qualifications
Experience:
- Previous experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality or a related field with at least 2 years experience in a customer-facing role.
- Experience in sales, customer service, or move coordination is highly preferred.
- Skills & Abilities:
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with seniors and their families
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism, empathy, and discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Must be willing to work Tuesday – Saturday. Flexibility to work occasional evenings or holidays as required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 30 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to physically move residents’ personal belongings, including but not limited to clothing, small furniture items, décor, household goods, and pack/unpacked personal items during internal moves.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, reach, and twist for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Ability to navigate resident apartments, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and storage areas while carrying items or pushing a cart in a safe manner.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment while maintaining attention to detail and resident dignity.
Requirements
2+ years experience in a customer-facing role
2+ years experience in a senior living, healthcare, or hospitality related field
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum High School Degree
English
