Accounting Assistant - $30 - $35/hr
Cypress, CA
We are looking for a skilled accounting assistant with great personality for a growing company in Cypress.
Role and Responsibility:
- Process and record accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies
- Prepare and issue invoices and payment reminders
- Enter financial data into accounting systems accurately
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation
- Support payroll processing and expense tracking
- Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and accounting principles
- Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams regarding billing or payments
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Bachelor's degree in accounting related is highly preferred!
