LOCATION: Caguas / Gurabo / Juncos (on site)


We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead minor construction and facility improvement projects, including painting, door installations, HVAC updates, and infrastructure upgrades, within regulated pharmaceutical or life sciences environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on project management experience and a solid understanding of compliance standards, including Quality Management Systems (QMS). This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional capable of managing multiple projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, on time, within budget, and in compliance with all applicable regulations.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, coordination, execution, and closure of multiple facility improvement and minor construction projects.
  • Coordinate and monitor projects through the entire project lifecycle.
  • Utilize project management tools to develop, manage, monitor, and/or update project documentation (charter, schedule, agenda, communications plan, risk register, budget, closing documents, etc.) timelines, and deliverables.
  • Define the main objectives, purpose, scope, shared expectations, and ensure that projects are moving forward.
  • Ensure that all project activities are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Perform quality control of projects throughout implementations to maintain expected standards.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Ensure the quality of the project deliverables.
  • Manage project performance with appropriate KPIs.
  • Perform project closure activities by ensuring work is completed, resources are reallocated, and formally sign off the projects.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams, provide training if needed.
  • Develop and monitor program execution plans.
  • Implement mitigation plans for projects.
  • Coordinate project implementation activities.
  • Conduct post-project reviews and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure quality compliance, safety compliance, and adherence to applicable pharmaceutical industry standards.
  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and provide regular progress updates and reports.

General Requirements:

  • Bilingual (Spanish and English)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Project, Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • PMP certification highly preferred

Travel Requirements:

  • Depending on the assigned project may be required to travel 10% or less of the time.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field or a combination of education and experience.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of project management experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with specific experience managing minor construction or facility improvement projects.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with varying scopes and budgets simultaneously.
