Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A healthcare opportunity is available for an experienced Cardiovascular Technologist specializing in Cath Lab procedures. This contract role is located in West Jordan, UT, offering a 13-week assignment with a day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Candidates must possess strong skills in diagnostic and interventional scrubbing alongside cardiologists, including experience with IABP and Impella support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic angiograms, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCIs), STEMI protocols, and structural interventions.
- Support cardiologists during procedures such as Rota, TAVR, Watchman, and MitraClip when applicable.
- Collaborate with team members within a busy two-lab Cath Lab unit managing approximately 5-15 cases daily.
- Adhere strictly to unit policies, procedures, and dress code requirements.
Qualifications & Certifications:
- Required certification: Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Registered Technologist (RT), Cardiovascular Technician (CVT), or Registered Nurse (RN) who scrubs.
- Proven experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Ability to adapt to dynamic schedules, including on-call duties (about 10 call days monthly, including at least one weekend).
- Demonstrated flexibility, teamwork, and strong work ethic.
