Job Description

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A healthcare opportunity is available for an experienced Cardiovascular Technologist specializing in Cath Lab procedures. This contract role is located in West Jordan, UT, offering a 13-week assignment with a day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Candidates must possess strong skills in diagnostic and interventional scrubbing alongside cardiologists, including experience with IABP and Impella support.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic angiograms, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCIs), STEMI protocols, and structural interventions.
Support cardiologists during procedures such as Rota, TAVR, Watchman, and MitraClip when applicable.
Collaborate with team members within a busy two-lab Cath Lab unit managing approximately 5-15 cases daily.
Adhere strictly to unit policies, procedures, and dress code requirements.

Qualifications & Certifications:

Required certification: Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Registered Technologist (RT), Cardiovascular Technician (CVT), or Registered Nurse (RN) who scrubs.
Proven experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
Ability to adapt to dynamic schedules, including on-call duties (about 10 call days monthly, including at least one weekend).
Demonstrated flexibility, teamwork, and strong work ethic.
