A Neuro Radiology Technologist position is available in Lansdale, PA, offering a focused opportunity to support advanced neuro endovascular procedures. This full-contract role emphasizes hands-on technical expertise with complex imaging and navigation systems used in operating rooms for head and spinal interventions. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain multiple imaging/navigation systems specific to neuro endovascular and spine procedures.
- Prepare neurovascular and spine devices while maintaining a sterile environment.
- Support physicians during interventional brain and spine cases including mechanical thrombectomy, aneurysm treatment, AVM/AVF therapy, vertebral augmentation, lumbar puncture for chemotherapy, and CT myelograms.
- Utilize EPIC for case scheduling, understand billing protocols and CPT codes.
- Perform post-processing of 2D and 3D imaging and use contrast power injectors.
- Proactively assess daily procedural technology needs, resolve imaging issues during cases, and ensure images are properly transmitted to PACS.
- Maintain proficiency with all patient care, monitoring, and communication equipment in the department.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification as a Radiology Technologist with ARRT credentials.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Proven experience in neuro radiology or neuroendovascular imaging.
- Strong technical aptitude with clinical and computer systems including Image Cast, SMS, Medview, and hospital communication platforms.
- Ability to scrub and circulate in the procedural room while maintaining sterility and effective collaboration.
