Job DescriptionSenior Acquisition Specialist (Remote, Pending Contract Award)

Overview
This is a pending position contingent upon contract award.
The Senior Acquisition Specialist provides expert-level acquisition planning, contract formation, and contract administration support for a Federal Government agency. This position is performed entirely remotely, supporting complex procurement activities across multiple contract types and mission areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead remote pre-award and post-award acquisition activities in accordance with the FAR, agency supplements, and federal policies.
  • Develop complete acquisition documentation including Acquisition Plans, SOWs/PWSs/SOOs, QASPs, source selection documents, IGCEs, PNMs, and contract modifications.
  • Provide expert virtual guidance to contracting personnel and program office staff.
  • Support remote source selection activities, evaluator training, scoring documentation, and decision memoranda preparation.
  • Conduct advanced pricing and cost analyses using high-volume datasets and advanced Excel tools (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, nested formulas).
  • Prepare RFQs, RFPs, and other solicitation packages ensuring compliance with federal requirements.
  • Provide virtual PRISM, FPDS-NG, and SharePoint user support; prepare acquisition reports and data analyses.
  • Contribute to acquisition policy reviews and updates.
  • Provide weekly status reporting and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Required Qualifications

  • FAC-C (Professional) or DAWIA Contracting Level III (or equivalent).
  • Minimum five (5) years of federal contracting experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise with FAR Parts 8, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16.5.
  • Proficiency with PRISM, FPDS-NG, SharePoint, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong remote communication, prioritization, and professional writing skills.
