About TCB:

TCB is a nonprofit professional ballet company with a mission to make ballet accessible, relatable, and fun, and connect communities through professional productions and educational enrichment. We are known for bold, imaginative productions—including Pink Floyd’s The Wall: A Rock Ballet, A Minnesota Nutcracker, Cinderella 1944: A Love Story, and Romeo & Juliet: The Rock Ballet—which blend classical technique with contemporary creativity.

As Minnesota’s first ballet company to offer Sensory-Relaxed performances, TCB is proud to expand access to dance for neurodiverse and sensory-sensitive audiences. We perform throughout the Twin Cities metro area, with regular engagements at venues including Ames Center (Burnsville), Fitzgerald Theatre (St. Paul), Northrop Auditorium (Minneapolis), and the Lakeville Area Art Center.

Founded in 2002 by former professional dancers Denise and Rick Vogt, TCB has grown from just two full-season dancers in 2013 to a company of 16 adult, non-student dancers—today, we are recognized as the leading nonprofit ballet company in the Twin Cities. We are deeply committed to ensuring that people of all ages, races, gender identities, backgrounds, and abilities have equitable and meaningful opportunities to experience and participate in the art of dance.
