A skilled Radiology Technologist position is available in Lenexa, KS, supporting imaging services in a high-acuity hospital environment. This contract role offers a chance to contribute to advanced patient care within a dynamic healthcare setting.

The healthcare facility is part of a well-established medical campus, offering a professional and supportive working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures across multiple attached buildings equipped with X-ray technology.
  • Utilize computer systems to conduct patient testing and efficiently retrieve quality and performance data.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety.
  • Adhere to facility protocols in a nicotine-free workplace with scheduled orientations to maintain compliance and quality standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year recent Radiology Tech experience in a high-acuity hospital setting.
  • Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program.
  • Current BLS, ARRT certification, and Licensed Radiologic Technologist (LRT) credential.
  • Kansas Board of Healing Arts (KSBHA) license required at time of application.
  • Strong computer proficiency related to patient data and imaging software.

Schedule:

  • Evenings, 10.5-hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 8:30 PM, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
  • Orientation includes an 8-hour, non-billable session on campus during the first week.

Contract Details:

  • Start dates available: April 13 or April 20.
  • Nicotine-free facility with bi-weekly pay.
  • No weekend or on-call requirements; holiday coverage as needed.
  • The client allows up to two cancellations per month with 2-hours' minimum notice.
