JOB SUMMARY:
The Marketing Manager assists the Director of Marketing with the execution of effective marketing programs targeted to both new and existing guests. Develops and supervises Promotion coordinators at each property. Oversees a thorough and effective bus marketing program. Responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of all promotions and special events for Seneca Gaming and Entertainment properties. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of Seneca Gaming and Entertainments policies and procedures, NIGC Minimum Internal Control Standards, and SGA Tribal Internal Control Standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for providing excellent service to both internal and external guests.
2. Works with the Director of Marketing and Promotion Coordinators to develop strategies that expand and extend geo-demographic area and market share through research and development.
3. Uses methods of measurement to analyze return on investment, trend analysis, etc.
4. Assist the Director of Marketing with the annual marketing plan and Budgets for all Seneca Gaming and Entertainment properties.
5. Assist the Director of Marketing in continuously monitoring the marketing plan and budgets in order to optimize the revenue opportunities for Seneca Gaming and Entertainment.
6. Responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive bus marketing program.
7. Coordinates with other gaming management team members when devising new promotional programs.
8. Oversees SGE Promotion Coordinators and ensures the organization and follow through of internal and external promotions.
9. Ensures that the best practices are applied across all Seneca Gaming and Entertainment properties as it relates to Promotions and Special Event implementation and profitability.
10. Assist the Director of Marketing in the oversight of event and promotional information on the SGE web page.
11. Responsible for ensuring that employee evaluations and marketing schedules are completed in an efficient and timely manner.
12. Conducts Promotions and Special Event meetings; attends management meetings and in-services.
13. Proof-read all promotional signage, flyers, etc. to ensure that they comply with approved promotion procedures.
14. Ensure compliance of Policies and Procedures of the entire Marketing Department. Assist in the implementation of new polices and review old policies on a regular basis.
15. Assist in the oversight of Social Media Marketing that may include Facebook, X, etc.
16. Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older upon employment. Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field; with three (3) years supervisory experience. At least three (3) years experience in the gaming industry preferred. Must be proficient in computer applications, including database programs. Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
