Salary Range: $67,000 - $100,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the shop floor, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of production staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, enforcing safety regulations and procedures.
- Ensure quality control standards are met by inspecting work in progress and finished products.
- Manage and maintain shop equipment, including preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as engineering and supply chain, to resolve issues and optimize production.
- Track production metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage inventory of materials and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of production processes.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical specifications.
Bonus Qualifications
- - Lean manufacturing certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Green Belt)
- - Experience with preventative maintenance scheduling and execution
