Job Title: Mandarin & Cantonese Translator (Remote, Part-Time)
Location: Remote (Zoom-based)
Pay Rate: $28.00 – $32.00 per hour
Hours: Minimum 4 hours/week, with potential for additional hours
Employment Type: Part-Time | Long-term contract

About the Role:
Our client, a global leader in seasonal and holiday décor—is seeking a bilingual Translator fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English to assist with cross-border communication between their U.S.-based team and their China office. This role is remote and conducted via Zoom, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to an international team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide real-time verbal translation between Mandarin/Cantonese and English during Zoom meetings

• Accurately convey the tone, intent, and context of discussions

• Maintain confidentiality of all shared business information

• Coordinate availability for weekly calls (minimum 4 hours/week)

Qualifications:

• Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English (verbal)

• Prior experience with live translation or interpretation preferred

• Comfortable working in a virtual setting (Zoom)

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information

Preferred Experience:

• Experience translating for global teams or within a corporate environment

• Knowledge of business or manufacturing terminology is a plus
