Job Summary:
Seeking a compassionate and dependable ICU RN to provide high-acuity patient care requiring close monitoring and frequent assessments. The RN will make independent clinical decisions, manage treatments, and collaborate with a supportive interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring
- Use sound clinical judgment to deliver safe, effective care
- Monitor critical vital signs and intervene in life-threatening situations
- Advocate for patients within the interdisciplinary care team
- Educate patients and families on medications, procedures, and treatments
Qualifications:
- 1+ year recent ICU RN experience in acute care (required)
- Active Florida RN license or multi state compact license (FL license within 60 days if relocating)
- RN Diploma or Associate Degree required; BSN preferred
- NIH Stroke Scale within 30 days of start
- BLS within 30 days of start
- ACLS within 6 months of start
- PALS within 6 months of start
