Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time Occupational Therapist position supports students across all grade levels (K-12) in a school setting located in Yucca Valley, CA. The role is a contract position for the full school year and offers an excellent opportunity for candidates interested in travel assignments as well.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings
- Skilled in working with students in Grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
- Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans to address students developmental and functional needs
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility and adaptability to serve a diverse student population
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students therapeutic needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents/students to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team meetings
