Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

In this contract position, you'll collaborate with students, staff, and families district-wide, working three days each week throughout the 2026/2027 school year. Engage in meaningful psychological support and consultation at every grade level, shaping student success and supporting inclusive practices.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a School Psychologist and relevant licensure for practice in Texas.
- Experience with conducting both initial and re-evaluation assessments in school settings.
- Familiarity with ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings and collaborative decision-making regarding student testing.
- Ability to provide consultation on behavioral strategies to special education staff.
- Knowledge of Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP).
- Comfort working with minimal counseling responsibilities, with flexibility to increase involvement as needed.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
- District-wide support for K-12th grade students, including approximately 16 initial evaluations and 11 re-evaluations for the year.
- Participation in ARD meetings to discuss and address testing outcomes.
- Collaborating with behavior specialists and school counselors for occasional counseling needs.
- Providing expert consultation for SPED staff on effective behavioral strategies.
- Assisting with FBA and BIP writing as required for individual student plans.
