An exciting opportunity awaits skilled school psychologists eager to make a difference across a diverse K-12 population. In this contract position, you'll collaborate with students, staff, and families district-wide, working three days each week throughout the 2026/2027 school year. Engage in meaningful psychological support and consultation at every grade level, shaping student success and supporting inclusive practices.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification as a School Psychologist and relevant licensure for practice in Texas.

  • Ability to provide consultation on behavioral strategies to special education staff.
  • Knowledge of Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP).
  • Comfort working with minimal counseling responsibilities, with flexibility to increase involvement as needed.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Participation in ARD meetings to discuss and address testing outcomes.
  • Collaborating with behavior specialists and school counselors for occasional counseling needs.
  • Providing expert consultation for SPED staff on effective behavioral strategies.
  • Assisting with FBA and BIP writing as required for individual student plans.

This role offers the chance to hone specialized assessment and consultation skills while having a broad impact within a supportive educational environment.
