Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will play a key part in managing and optimizing Workday Adaptive Planning to support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting efforts. This position requires a strong combination of technical expertise and financial acumen to drive strategic insights and improve decision-making processes.
Responsibilities:
• Configure, maintain, and enhance financial models, reports, and integrations within Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Manage data imports and integrations to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial planning and analysis processes.
• Support and optimize core FP& A activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
• Collaborate with finance and business leaders to translate business objectives into system requirements and actionable insights.
• Provide training and support to end-users to maximize their utilization of the Workday Adaptive Planning platform.
• Troubleshoot system issues and identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
• Develop and implement solutions that enhance financial analysis and reporting capabilities.
• Evaluate system performance and recommend improvements to meet evolving business needs.
• Ensure the integrity of financial data and its alignment with organizational goals.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve financial strategies using real-time data insights.• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, modeling, and planning.
• Hands-on expertise with Workday Adaptive Planning and its functionalities.
• Strong understanding of FP& A concepts, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Advanced analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and ad hoc analysis.
• Familiarity with data mining techniques and tools.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Strategic mindset to align system capabilities with business objectives.
