Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support facility, production, and process equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role requires strong hands-on troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, along with the ability to perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
The technician will also provide guidance to other maintenance personnel, respond to maintenance work orders, support equipment reliability, and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot, repair, adjust, and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
- Respond to maintenance work orders and support the site's preventive maintenance program.
- Champion and follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and all applicable safety requirements.
- Inspect, test, and evaluate equipment performance using appropriate testing and measuring instruments.
- Troubleshoot and repair pumps, fans, valves, motors, relays, and related equipment.
- Adjust, repair, and replace electrical, electronic, and pneumatic components.
- Perform approved welding, soldering, plumbing, and fabrication work.
- Maintain building and grounds functionality and coordinate with outside contractors when required.
- Provide direction and assistance to other maintenance personnel and help organize maintenance work.
- Track machine-part and maintenance-supply inventory and reorder materials as needed.
- Read and interpret work orders, schematics, blueprints, part drawings, and technical documentation.
- Use shop math and precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and Pi tapes.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow 5S practices.
- Report equipment and production issues to the appropriate supervisor or manufacturing engineering manager.
- Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
- Perform other maintenance duties within the same or lower classification as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; international diplomas may require English translation.
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience maintaining machinery and equipment involving:

- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently prioritize maintenance issues and respond effectively to equipment problems.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, work orders, and part drawings.
- Ability to use and interpret precision measuring instruments.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional off-shift or weekend work when required.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required.
Preferred Qualifications
- College, technical school, or trade-school education.
- Relevant technical certifications.
- Experience with lean manufacturing fundamentals.
- Welding, soldering, plumbing, and fabrication experience.
- Experience leading or mentoring other maintenance personnel.
- Strong multitasking and equipment troubleshooting capabilities.
Work Environment
- Manufacturing/industrial environment.
- 2nd shift: 3:30 PM–11:30 PM, Monday–Friday.
- Mandatory overtime is required.
- Additional off-shift or weekend work may occasionally be required based on operational needs.
- Employees are expected to follow all safety, quality, housekeeping, and 5S requirements.

The ideal candidate is an experienced multi-craft industrial maintenance technician who can independently troubleshoot and repair complex manufacturing equipment across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Strong leadership, communication, safety awareness, and hands-on problem-solving skills are essential.
