An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse proficient in medical-surgical nursing at a long-term acute care facility in Raeford, NC. This contract role involves providing critical patient care within a supportive environment geared toward recovery and rehabilitation. The position offers night shifts with a consistent schedule, allowing for work-life balance and professional growth.

Schedule/Hours:

• Night shifts, 4 shifts per week
• 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care on a medical-surgical/telemetry unit
• Float between similar units within the facility as needed
• Utilize electronic health records (Epic) for accurate documentation
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement individualized patient care plans

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid RN license with medical-surgical patient care skills
• Experience or willingness to work in a long-term acute care setting
• Adaptability to float between units as facility demands
• Acceptance of first-time Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nurses considered
• Ability to maintain professional standards with a strict call-off policy and contract limits

Additional Details:

• No weekend rotations required; every other weekend off
• No on-call duties
• Royal blue and white scrubs worn by staff
• Contract duration limited by a two-contract maximum with specific return criteria for travelers
• Pending licenses are not accepted
• Candidates within a 50-mile radius considered
