We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented CMM Programmer to join our team in Charlotte, MI. As a CMM Programmer, you will be responsible for programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to inspect parts and ensure they meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Program CMM machines using CAD models and blueprints.
- Conduct first article inspections on new parts.
- Perform regular inspections on production parts and provide detailed reports.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Maintain CMM machines and ensure they are operating correctly.
- Maintain gauge calibration system.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a CMM Programmer.
- Proficiency in CMM programming software (Polyworks)
- Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
