Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:
\n
• Perform CT scans, MRI, body scanner, and X-rays
\n• Create pictures of bones, organs, and tissues to combine into accurate picture assessments
\n• Work with variety of physicians, radiologists, and patients
\n• Patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 depending on patient stability
\n• Work with all GE equipment including MRI units, scanners, cameras, x-ray, and fluoroscopy
\n• Use Meditech EMR system
\n• Required certifications: ARRT (CT) and BLS
\n• Preferred certifications: RT (T), ASRT, FASRT
\n• Must have experience with GE equipment and Meditech preferred
\n• Dress code requires navy blue scrubs
\n• Must demonstrate strong communication skills, medical and anatomical knowledge, and mechanical aptitude
\n• Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment required
\n• Day shift includes director, radiologist, and 6-7 techs
\n• Night shift includes charge RN, on-call team, and 3-4 techs depending on volume

This healthcare facility features an 18-bed radiology department with 8 staff members including radiologists, radiologist techs, ultrasound techs, MRI techs, and CT techs. The facility recently invested in a new 1.2 million dollar state-of-the-art computed tomography scanner and maintains all GE equipment throughout the department. The organization is recognized as a certified comprehensive stroke center and has received the American Heart Gold Plus Achievement Award, demonstrating their commitment to excellence in patient care and advanced medical technology.
