Job overview:
- Diagnose, repair, and rewind AC/DC motors, generators, and control systems, replacing bearings, brushes, windings, and other worn components as needed
- Test and commission motors for performance, insulation resistance, and safety compliance, while maintaining service records and following LOTO safety protocols
- Read electrical schematics and work with VFDs, starters, and control panels to install, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment with minimal downtime
