Now Hiring: Full-Time Cook – Stir Up Something Great!
Do you have a passion for creating comforting, home-style meals? We’re looking for a Full-Time Cook to join our dedicated, fast-paced team in Mora, MN. This position offers 40 hours per week, including every other weekend, from 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM.
Schedule: 40 hours per week, every other weekend
Wage: $16.00 – $21.50 per hour (based on experience)
Position Summary:
The Cook is responsible for meal preparation and clean up.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and cook fresh, delicious meals from scratch
- Serve meals with a friendly, welcoming attitude
- Keep the kitchen and dining areas well-stocked and organized
- Maintain supplies such as coffee, utensils, and napkins
- Provide excellent service to clients and staff
- Wash dishes and uphold high cleanliness standards
- Ensure all kitchen operations meet safety and sanitation requirements
General
- Work as a member of the broader team of the Center to ensure a high level of service to our clients, including assisting with general housekeeping, kitchen duties and light maintenance.

Requirements:
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 18+ years old
- Valid Driver’s License
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently communicate with employees, parents, clients and other individuals with key relationships. This requires receiving and providing accurate information in writing or verbally, in these situations.
- Frequently lift equipment and supplies up to 50 lbs. from floor to shoulder height throughout the day.
- Frequently crouch, stoop or bend to retrieve necessary equipment and supplies.
- Frequently grasp items to prepare and cook meals, including spoons, knives, pans, etc.
- Stand tall enough to reach equipment and supplies in storage areas.
- Frequently stand for extended periods of time.
