ATC Healthcare Services, LLC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated School-Based Physical Therapist (PT) to provide exceptional therapy services to students in the Hewlett-Woodmere School Districts.
We have an IMMEDIATE NEED for experienced Physical Therapists who are passionate about helping children improve mobility, increase independence, and achieve their educational goals.

Responsibilities
-
Evaluate students and develop individualized treatment plans based on functional abilities and educational goals.

Provide physical therapy services in accordance with each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP).

Improve students' mobility, strength, balance, coordination, endurance, and functional independence.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, school staff, and multidisciplinary team members to support student success.

Document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and required reports accurately and timely.

Maintain compliance with ATC Healthcare policies, school district procedures, and applicable state and federal regulations.

Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA .

Communicate effectively with administrators, educators, families, and healthcare professionals.

Maintain professional competency through continuing education and licensure requirements.
Qualifications
-
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (APTA or equivalent).

Current, unrestricted New York State Physical Therapist (PT) License.
-
Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience preferred.

School-based or pediatric experience preferred but not required.

Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary educational team.
