Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a Portland, CT elementary school, supporting students in grades 2 through 4. This contract position is ideal for an SLP with a hold on the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) looking to cover a leave from February through mid-June.
Key Details:
- Part-time position, 3 days per week
- Caseload consists primarily of 2nd to 4th-grade students
- Start date in February, covering the remainder of the academic year
- Leave coverage contract with a defined end date in mid-June
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Experience working with elementary-aged children
- Ability to develop and implement individualized speech-language intervention plans
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, parents, and students
Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted speech and language therapy for elementary students identified with speech-language needs
- Assess student progress and update treatment plans accordingly
- Coordinate with teachers and school staff to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school policies
