Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Youth Care Worker to join our team. The Youth Care Worker provides daily supervision, guidance, and support to youth residents while helping maintain a safe and positive living environment.
Key Responsibilities

Provide direct care, supervision, and mentorship to youth residents

Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment

Assist youth with daily routines, including meals, hygiene, school, and activities

Support development of life skills and positive behavior

Document daily activities, incidents, and shift progress notes

Communicate effectively with team members, families, and service providers

Respond appropriately to crisis situations using approved intervention techniques
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required
-
Experience working with youth in residential, educational, or community settings preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations

Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks
-
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Schedule
-
Evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required
