\n Nuclear Medicine Technologist (PET/CT) – 13-week travel contract in Seneca, SC. Join our clinical imaging team to perform PET scans, operate Siemens PET/CT equipment, and deliver high-quality nuclear medicine patient care in beautiful Upstate South Carolina.\n

  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,140 - $2,290 (travel nuclear medicine technologist)\n
  • Location: Seneca, SC 29672 (Seneca, South Carolina; Oconee County; near Lake Keowee & Blue Ridge Mountains)\n
  • Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 3, 2026)\n
  • Shift: Days, Monday–Wednesday (3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)\n
  • Hours per Week: 36\n
  • Setting: PET/CT Unit (clinical imaging / nuclear medicine)\n
  • Scrubs: Hunter Green\n

\n\nRequired Qualifications\n

    \n
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, including PET/CT experience\n
  • Minimum 1 year experience with EPIC EMR (electronic medical record)\n
  • SCRQSA certification (per facility requirement)\n
  • ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB registered\n
  • ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT) registration required for South Carolina\n
  • Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)\n
  • Experience operating Siemens PET/CT equipment required; GE and Philips experience preferred\n
  • Experience performing PET scans, radiopharmaceutical preparation, and radiation safety practices\n
  • Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)\n

\n\nKey Responsibilities\n

    \n
  • Perform PET/CT scans and other nuclear medicine procedures for adult patients in a busy PET/CT unit\n
  • Operate Siemens PET/CT systems and perform required quality control and equipment checks\n
  • Use EPIC EMR for patient charting, scheduling, and reporting\n
  • Prepare, handle, and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely according to protocols\n
  • Start and maintain IVs, monitor patients during imaging, and ensure patient preparation and positioning\n
  • Follow radiation safety and regulatory requirements for nuclear medicine departments\n
  • Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver excellent patient care\n
  • Float to other qualified imaging units as needed based on census\n
  • Complete pre-assignment modules and orientation (up to 16 hours reimbursed)\n
