Job Overview
The Marketing Specialist works alongside the Director, Technology Marketing and Sales Enablement to develop marketing content and activities to meet AMS/MGT’s national TSG organizational objectives. The Specialist will be involved in digital and direct marketing, content creation, and conference preparation.

Duties

  • Collaborate with sales team, pre-sales engineering, enterprise digital marketing team and manufacturer partners
  • Assist in developing and executing campaigns for brand awareness and demand generation
  • Assist in developing customer success stories for the website and social channels
  • Assist with coordination of customer webinars and seminars
  • Some outbound calling to help drive event registration and attendance
  • Assist with the writing, editing and creation of marketing materials
  • Coordination of trade shows, events, and related marketing activities
  • Manage marketing lists, trade show attendee lists and other campaign leads
  • Assist with sales enablement activities including PowerPoint templates, bid response marketing materials, and technical statements of work

Requirements

  • Ability to manage multiple projects with various timelines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Proficient in tools including Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint, Salesforce, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Marketo or other marketing automation platform and basic html
  • Ability to understand the partner ecosystem and MDF programs is a plus

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of marketing experience in the technology industry, VAR preferred
