Position Overview
Join our leading healthcare facility as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, where you'll leverage state-of-the-art imaging technology to deliver exceptional diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures. Essential Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostic nuclear medicine and cardiology procedures using advanced gamma camera systems
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals following strict safety protocols
- Conduct mobile nuclear cardiology services throughout NY and PA
- Manage radioactive materials and ensure regulatory compliance
- Execute therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures with precision
- Maintain quality control standards for all imaging equipment
- Process and analyze diagnostic images using PACS and specialized software
- Provide exceptional patient care across all age groups
Qualifications & Requirements
- NMTCB or ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine (or eligible)
- New York State Nuclear Medicine Technologist license (or eligible)
- 2 or 4-year degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology (preferred)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- BLS certification (required within 90 days)
- 1+ year experience preferred (new graduates considered)
