Job DescriptionMedical Temporaries, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced ***Medical Receptionist***.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience required working a medical front desk position.
This is a PART TIME/TEMP TO HIRE position requiring availability between the hours of 9AM-5PM three days a week (about 25 hours a week), located in Virginia Beach, VA (23454).
Responsibilities:A Day in the life of a Medical Receptionist:
As a Medical Receptionist you will be responsible for greeting the patients and guests, gather and input data, schedule, scan information into EMR, collect payments, documents payments, maintains cleanliness of office and waiting room, abides by HIPAA rules and regulations and assists staff with other duties. Duties:
- Answering the phone
- Greeting patients and visitors
- Data Entry
- Scheduling
- Collecting payment
- Posting payments
- Cleaning of office and waiting room
- Scanning information into EMR charts
Requirements for the Medical Receptionist:
- Required: 6 months of experience working a medical front desk position
- Required: Excellent customer service skills
- Required: Professional personal presentation
- Required: Strong organizational skills
- Required: Ability to pass Background Check
- Required: Must be reliable and a quick learner and have ability to multi-task with accuracy in a very busy environment
- Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications for the Medical Receptionist:
- Preferred: Plastic Surgery Experience or Surgical Experience a plus
