You are the glue that holds Elite Jumps together, ensuring the smooth operations of the business. As the Operations Manager you are primarily responsible for managing processes, facilities and people. Specifically this includes overseeing production schedules, facility maintenance, inventory management and employee training. The Operations Manager must have exceptional communication and leadership skills to motivate employees, maintain and build the culture, and enact the strategies of the leadership team. Strong decision-making skills and management capacity are key attributes for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Supervising daily operations in production, custom printing and shipping
- Creating staff schedules (reviewing work loads and manpowers to maintain operational efficiency)
- Ensuring that health and safety regulations are followed
- Checking that projects are completed on time
- Liaison between customer service, buyer/planning, and sales and fulfillment operations
- Creating a safe working environment
- Managing stock control and inventory checks
- Leader for quarterly inventory counts
- Supporting CEO and executive team’s vision and process targets
Skills & Experience
- 3 years experience management of others
- Strong computer skills: Including basic formulas and charts. Familiarity with Google Workspace tools a bonus
- Experience working in warehouse environment with working knowledge of production, warehouse, and procurement processes used in manufacturing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organizational and leadership skills
- Good analytical/critical thinking
- Reliable and trustworthy
