Now Hiring: Dining Services Director

About the Role:

As the Dining Services Director, you’ll oversee all aspects of food service operations within our facility. From menu planning to quality control, you’ll ensure residents receive nutritious, appealing meals in a safe, efficient, and budget-conscious environment. You’ll also lead and support a dedicated Dining Services team, fostering a positive dining experience for all.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily food preparation and meal service according to planned menus
• Supervise, train, and manage Dietary Aides and Cooks
• Recruit, onboard, and retain dining staff to minimize turnover
• Monitor and respond to residents’ nutritional needs and physician-ordered diets
• Order food, supplies, and equipment; inspect deliveries for quality, accuracy, and pricing
• Ensure compliance with dietary regulations and safety standards
• Collaborate in patient care meetings, contributing nutritional insights
• Maintain accurate and timely nutrition documentation
• Adapt menus to meet the diverse dietary needs of residents across skilled nursing, assisted living, memory care, and independent living
• Implement systems to support regulatory compliance and high-quality outcomes
• Deliver excellent customer service and build positive relationships with residents

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification or willingness to obtain
• ServSafe Certification
• Minimum 2 years of relevant food service management experience
